Albania

Albania is a parliamentary democracy with a market-oriented economic system. Albania's per capita income is among the lowest in Europe, but economic conditions in the country are slowly improving as Albania's economy integrates into broader European markets. Tourist facilities and hotel accommodations are plentiful in Tirana but are limited in smaller towns. Albanian is the official language; English is limited except for Tirana’s main tourist areas.
